PING lengthened the 4-, 5- and 6-irons to help golfers launch the long end of the set higher and maintain more consistent distance gaps. The standard lengths progress from 39¼ inches in the 4-iron to 37¾ inches in the 6-iron before returning to a traditional progression in the scoring clubs.
