Hot Metal Speed With a Higher-Launch HL Profile
The JPX 925 Hot Metal HL combines Mizuno's Nickel Chromoly 4335 construction with a CORTECH Contour Ellipse Face and a wider 86.6 mm head profile. Mizuno positions the HL as the max-forgiveness speed cavity in the JPX 925 Hot Metal family, designed for golfers seeking more launch and spin with an easier-to-elevate shape.
Contour Ellipse Face
The re-engineered multi-thickness face is 30% thinner than the previous generation and is designed to increase center speed while retaining speed across more of the impact zone.
Low Tungsten Weighting
Tungsten positioned low in the 4 through 7 irons lowers the sweet spot and supports a higher launch with steeper landing angles.
HL Head Geometry
The 86.6 mm head length gives the HL the widest profile in the JPX 925 Hot Metal family, supporting Mizuno's maximum-height positioning.
