Honma BERES | 2008
Honma Beres MG703 Custom Irons
Honma’s third-generation BERES iron, handcrafted at the Sakata factory in Japan. Hyper lofts, an active rounded sole and a hyper-cross face deliver effortless height and distance with legendary Honma craftsmanship.
Product Overview
Launched in September 2008, the BERES MG703 pairs an SUS630 stainless body with a high-strength rolled face. Weight moved from the back of the sole to its lower edge keeps the CG low even with a thicker blade, so hyper lofts launch as high as the previous model while flying much farther. A rounder active sole reduces drag through the turf from any lie.
Hyper Lofts
Strong lofts with a low CG for big carry at a familiar trajectory.
Active Sole
Extra sole rounding cuts turf resistance and handles any lie.
Hyper-Cross Face
A high-strength rolled face built for ball speed and fewer missed shots.
Luxury. Distance. Craft.
Effortless Distance, Handcrafted in Japan
MG703 combines hyper lofts, a low CG and an active sole so every iron flies higher and farther with less effort.
Best Fit For
- Moderate swing-speed golfers
- Players wanting easy launch and distance
- Fans of premium handcrafted Japanese clubs
