TaylorMade equips this iconic offering with its Pure Roll insert. Based on robot testing, the Pure Roll insert's forty-five-degree grooves increase topspin and forward roll versus a traditional face. The result is a reduction in skidding and an end-over-end rotation that resists falling off-line, leading to improved distance control, more makes, and fewer three-putts.
The face-balanced double-bend variant suits players with a straight-back, straight-through stroke.
