The Callaway Elyte family of irons features a new Speed Frame construction. This innovative design stiffens the topline, allowing Callaway's research and development team to equip a thinner, more flexible face. As a result, the irons produce a robust trampoline effect at impact, delivering breakneck ball speeds. The Speed Frame also allowed for an infusion of additional sound and feel-enhancing urethane microspheres.
Callaway's industry-leading artificial intelligence once again takes another step forward in Elyte. Like Ai Smoke, real player data and cutting-edge machine learning are utilized to develop an exceptionally fast, forgiving, accuracy-boosting face. However, the new Ai10x Face delivers ten times more control points than Ai Smart Face, making it Callaway's most advanced to date. With thousands more smart points on Elyte, Callaway's latest irons produce a vastly tighter downrange dispersion, markedly increased ball speeds, and optimized launch conditions across the face.
Smooth turf interaction is paramount to consistently successful iron play, and Elyte's new tri-sole design, including three distinct sections, ensures precisely that. Specifically, a sharper leading edge and trailing edge relief create an efficient entry and exit through the surface, while the midsection enhances forgiveness.
